Chelmsford Ice Rink is located at the Riverside Ice and Leisure Centre in Victoria Road, Chelmsford. The programme for the Ice Rink has been specially designed to provide the widest possible range of entertainment and enjoyment for everyone. From sessions for the whole family to the late evening disco sessions, ice dance, ice hockey, private lessons, parties and courses.

In addition Chelmsford Ice Rink is also home to the Chelmsford Chieftains Ice Hockey Team and the venue for their exciting home matches.

Rink-side facilities at Chelmsford Ice Rink include a fully licensed bar, cafeteria, hot and cold vending and seating for over 600 spectators. There are also over 2000 pairs of skates available for hire at the rink.

If you are interested in learning to skate, the Riverside Ice and Leisure Centre run a Skate UK programme. This learn to skate programme has been approved by the National Ice-Skating Association (NISA). Private Parties can also be catered for at the Chelmsford Ice Rink with a wide variety of party themes available, including ice-skating with or without an ice professional.
