Set between Hyde Park Corner and the Serpentine over six weeks this winter, Winter Wonderland is the ultimate Christmas experience for family and friends to be a part of the magical atmosphere in London this Christmas. The 24,000 square metre site will feature The Winter Wonderland Ice Rink - London's largest outdoor ice rink - aswell as The Winter Wonderland Observation Wheel - an incredible 50metre giant observation wheel offering magnificent views of Hyde Park - along with a toboggan slide, numerous cafes and bars, and a carousel. As the winter evenings close in, to add magical atmosphere, the trees along Serpentine Road will sparkle with thousands of Christmas lights highlighting the incredible natural beauty of Hyde Park. Whether you're an experienced skater or a complete beginner the Winter Wonderland open-air ice rink is London's essential winter experience. There'll be traditional food and mulled wine and a brilliant German Christmas Market including authentic arts and crafts, making it an ideal place to do some Christmas shopping. The bandstand will feature regular carol concerts and, when time allows, even Santa himself is scheduled to make an appearance in the run-up to Christmas. Advance booking for the Ice Rink is strongly recommended throughout the season. Skating is booked in sessions of one hour.
