Enjoy winter skating at the spectacular 1,000 square metre outdoor Ice Rink set in the Natural History Museum's gardens. Make the most of your day by visiting the world-famous Museum before or after skating. There is a junior rink for younger skaters. If you need any guidance our friendly ice marshals are there to give a helping hand. Not skating? Enjoy the atmosphere from the viewing platform where you can watch friends and family skate. In addition experience the ultimate festive atmosphere and shop to your hearts content at our Christmas Fair (free entry) where you can browse the chalets selling everything from hand-cut glassware, ceramics and candles, to delicious Christmas treats and toys. (Please note: The Christmas Fair is open from 20 November 2007 until 6 January 2008 and is closed on Mondays and open on Christmas Eve). The Café Bar is open throughout the day with great views of the rink from the new open-air balcony. A café by day and a bar by night, the upper level Café Bar looks out over the rink. The spectacular open-air balcony is new this year letting you soak up the atmosphere and take in the view while sipping mulled wine or cocktails. Chosen as one of London's best festive bars by the Evening Standard.
